Server Monitoring and Management

Operating under our NOC and service desk, our server monitoring and management processes are executed with the same precision as our general support process.  The difference is that instead of a user initiated request or system generated alert, we leverage service templates to define the operational cadence that governs our systems management process.  The service templates define patch intervals, backup frequencies, retention windows, server maintenance schedules and software updates based on the customer’s requirements.  These service templates are configured on a per client basis after our implementation team conducts discovery and mutually agrees to a maintenance plan with our client.  By default, we provide the following minimum level of service as part of our server monitoring and management solution:

  • HSMA AI monitoring agent with automated self-remediation
  • Daily snapshots, weekly full backups with a 1 year retention on all copies
  • Quarterly patch management of major OS updates
  • Monthly security updates after passing testing
  • Immediate application of critical security updates after passing testing
  • System monitoring of CPU utilization, disk I/O, memory utilization and network performance

AWS and Microsoft Azure Cloud Server Management

HTG provides a range of support for administering public cloud services.  This includes infrastructure managed up to the OS level, patch management, security, availability zones, backups, replication and geo-redundancy.  In addition, we offer support for a  broad range of ancillary public cloud services including database services, app deployments, virtual desktops, web services, and SQL/Oracle/MySQL administration.
